Our Monthly Missions

Each month we highlight a certain organization that we support. We collect offerings each Sunday and send one lump sum at the end of the month to that designated mission. We are a small church, but our hearts are to reach out and help others.

Below you will see details for each organization that we support and how their impact has helped countless people in many ways.

Voice of the Martyrs

Voice of the Martyrs

The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) serves persecuted Christians in the world’s most difficult and dangerous places to follow Christ. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his wife, Sabina, founded VOM after being imprisoned for their Christian witness in Communist Romania. Since 1967, VOM has been dedicated to inspiring all believers to a biblical faith by telling the stories of persecuted Christians, thereby inspiring a deeper commitment to Christ and the fulfillment of his Great Commission, no matter the cost.

Christian Appalachian Project (CAP)

Christian Appalachian Project (CAP)

CAP was founded by Reverend Ralph W. Beiting in 1964 after he realized that the people of Appalachia were struggling to escape poverty. CAP builds hope, transforms lives, and shares Christ’s love through service. Today, they serve nearly 2 million children, families, and seniors each year.

They provide food for hungry children, connect families in need to essential resources, and offer compassionate services to seniors. They also transform unsafe, deteriorating houses into homes that are safe, warm, and dry. And when disaster strikes, they’re ready to provide Appalachian communities with resources and support. Together with their generous donors, partners, and volunteers, they serve as the hands and feet of Christ over in the mountains.

Catskill Christian Assembly Camp

Catskill Christian Assembly Camp

Established in 1961 by a group of Christian churches from Long Island, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, CCA was born out of a shared vision to create a place where children and adults alike could escape the hustle and bustle of city life and discover the transformative love of Jesus.

IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service)

IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service)

Following a major cyclone that hit Bangladesh in 1970, Milton Bates, and his wife, Janet, were deeply moved by the utter destruction they saw on the news reports. Burdened to help somehow, Milton and Janet prayed for God to reveal a way to unite the brotherhood of independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ in a relief effort.

Today, they continue their legacy of providing Help & Hope around the world as those who came before have faithfully been doing for more than 50 years.

Orchard Group

Orchard Group

For more than 75 years, Orchard Group has built a strong track record of establishing new churches in cities. Over 95% of their churches flourish in their communities over the long haul: becoming self-governing, sustaining, and multiplying.

This organization helped us to get our church started back in 1969, though back then they went by the name of "Go Ye Chapel".

Pheap and Heather Mey

They are missionaries to Cambodia and have been working in children's ministry, hosting special events for holidays, and holding baptisms. They also have made a large impact in their community by helping those in need, along with providing education with English and computer classes. Their leader training seminars in their church alongside Bible studies and regular church services has turned countless lives around in Cambodia.

Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Family in Need

A Family in Need

Every December, we choose to focus on a local family in need to help provide financial relief. Whether they have lost a loved one, struggle to make ends meet, or find themselves out of a job suddenly, we will come together to give them a leg up in whatever way they need.
